It was in 1919 in Saluzzo, his adopted city, that Comm. Amleto Bertoni – a man of great ability, courage and determination – founded Antica Casa d’Arte to fulfil the ambitious dream of making his beloved city a great capital of artistic furniture.
Needless to say, he succeeded so well that Saluzzo is now internationally renowned for its carpentry workshops. Comm. Amleto Bertoni employed only the best crafters in his workshop, always demanding the utmost quality workmanship, salvaging ancient techniques but also adopting modern innovations with much foresight.
Amleto Bertoni Today
Over time, still in line with Comm. Amleto Bertoni’s vision, the Casa d’Arte has been revitalised.
Certain entrepreneurs, trained in-house, took over the company and moved the business to Paesana, into more modern, healthier and better-equipped warehouses.
Within the workshop are are different specialisations. There is the Designer, who takes the measurements in our clients’ homes, listens to their needs and discusses the details with them, speaks and collaborates with the clients’ architects, before finally translates everything into working drawings. Then there is the Restoration and Antiques Dealer, who has decades of experience in the valuation and trade of antiques.
After-sales Service
Our company offers ongoing assistance to clients requiring repair, maintenance and restyling of old productions.
